Vintage handkerchieves often have lovely and intricate needlework. I especially love the floral designs hand-embroidered on them. My collection grew and I found I had many I wanted to display, so I came up with a way to do so without damaging the delicate fabric. Here’s how:

Project: Create an angel tree ornament using a vintage handkerchief.

Use a painted wooden doll’s head, yarn glued onto the head for the hair, gold coloured wire for the halo, and a screw in the base of the head to tie on the vintage handkerchief with a ribbon.
