I turned this violet covered teacup into a unique pincushion.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Project: Turn a vintage teacup into a pin cushion.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Choose a thick fabric in a colour that coordinates with the design on the teacup. In this case I used a fine corduroy out of my remnant stash. Cut a large circle and baste along the edge. Gather and stuff with polyester fibre fill, securing opening. Place in cup, stitching side down. Embellish by attaching a flower that matches the cup design to the top of the cushion.
