As with shoes, there are so many fabulous ones to choose from that you are sure to find a perfect one for any occasion! This has led to a storage problem. Some just won&#8217;t fit in a hatbox, so I created hat stands out of candlesticks.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Project: Create a hat stand out of a vintage candlestick.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cut a piece off of a large styrofoam sphere to create a flat surface. Place it on top of a candlestick. You may want to adhere it in some way; I did not. Then choose a piece of fabric that goes with your decor and cut it into a large circle. Finish the edge with a decorative stitch.
